1:1 Teaching Assistant – Leicester

Do you want the opportunity to help provide a child with ASD vital support based inside and out of the classroom as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant in a Monday to Friday role based in one school?

A superb primary school based in LE7 is looking to find an outgoing, dedicated and hard-working 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide vital academic, social and emotional support to a child with Autism both inside and out of the classroom. In this role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions based inside and out of the classroom for a young KS1 child with ASD following a structured Education Health Care Plan.

In this role as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be paid £84 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday role beginning ASAP until July 2023. The working hours are from 08.30am until 15.30pm, where you will also have access to our Online CPD College partnership with a free subject enhancement knowledge course in topics such as SEN, Safeguarding and Mental Health Awareness.

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Brilliant organisation and communication skills
• Patient and understanding regarding pupils progress
• Eager to progress into education based career!
