SEN Teaching Assistant – Leicester – Primary School – Full Time – Beginning ASAP!

Perhaps you’re a recent Psychology graduate with a desire to gain vital first-hand SEN Teaching Assistant experience supporting a small child with Autism inside and out of the class?
Maybe you’re looking for a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant inside of one school supporting a child for the remainder of the academic year?
A superb primary school based in Leicester is keen to find a warm, hard-working and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their excellent SEN department for the remainder of the academic year supporting a KS1 child with Autism based inside and out of the classroom. In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions for a young child based inside and out of the classroom based around a carefully structured Education Health Care Plan.
In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant you will be paid £83 per day during term-time in a Monday-Friday position beginning immediately and ending in July. You will also have access to our partnership with the Online CPD College, with a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as Safeguarding, SEN Awareness and Managing Challenging Behaviour.
SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
- Psychology or Education Studies subjects desirable
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with young people
- Naturally warm and supportive personality
- Excellent organisation & communication skills
- Passionate about the development of young children!
