  • Cover lessons and learn how to create and maintain a calm learning environment
  • Plan and deliver intervention sessions
  • Provide 1:1 support to students
  • Become a valued member of the team and the school’s community
  • Run your very own enrichment activities

Step into Teaching – person specification

  • Graduate with a 2:1 classification or higher
  • Strong subject knowledge – core subjects desirable
  • Drive to inspire the next generation
  • Ambition and can-do attitude
  • Be a positive role-model
  • Previous experience working with children and young people desirable
  • Clear commitment to education and teaching
