A superb SEN specialist school based in Scunthorpe is eager to find a hard-working, proactive and naturally engaging SEN Teaching Assistant to join their school in a full-time, Monday to Friday role for the remainder of the academic year to provide vital 1:1 and small group support to Year 7 pupils.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be paid £87 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday position beginning immediately and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to our partnership with the online CPD college, and a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topics such as SEN, Mental Health Awareness and Children’s Safeguarding.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university subject degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Brilliant organisation & communication skills
• Outgoing and proactive during the school day
• Able to keep pupils focused and engaged
• Patient regarding pupils progress
