Learning Support Assistant – Scunthorpe – SEN School – Year 7 Class – Full Time

Perhaps you’re interested in pursuing a career based within Psychology, but would first like to gain vital SEN based experience supporting Year 7 children as a Learning Support Assistant?

Maybe you’re interested in a career as a Teacher, and would value the opportunity to provide general classroom support to a Year 7 class with special educational needs?

A superb SEN specialist school based in Scunthorpe is eager to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally outgoing Learning Support Assistant to provide excellent general classroom support to a wonderful Year 7 class with special educational needs. The pupils within this class have varying neurodivergent needs, and the school are eager to find genuinely passionate Learning Support Assistant to be a consistent foundation of support throughout lesson time.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be paid £85 per day during term time whilst also have access to our partnership with the Online CPD College and a free subject enhancement knowledge course in topics such as Safeguarding, SEN and Managing Challenging Behaviour. The role is a full-time Monday to Friday position, beginning immediately and ending in July 2023.

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
  • Good academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Dedicated and outgoing personality
  • Naturally warm and supportive individual
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about supporting young children’s development
