A wonderful primary school based in Derby is eager to find a warm, supportive and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to an energetic and outgoing pupil based inside of their EYFS department who they suspect may have ASD. The school want to make sure the pupil receives excellent care and support throughout the school day, creating fun and engaging learning experiences whilst being a constant foundation of support for the remainder of the academic year.

In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will £83 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday role beginning immediately and ending in July 2023. You will also have access to a free subject enhancement knowledge course via our partnership with the Online CPD College with courses on topics such as Safeguarding, SEN and Managing Children’s Behaviour In The Classroom.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Naturally warm and supportive personality
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Passionate about a career in education or psychology
• Patient and understanding regarding pupils progress
