Primary Teaching Assistant – DE11 – EYFS Class – Starting ASAP – Ending July 2023

Are you a recent Psychology or Education Studies based graduate with a passion for supporting young people, and a desire to join a wonderful EYFS department supporting a child with ASD?

A superb primary school based in Swadlincote is keen to find an outgoing, supportive and dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant to join their superb EYFS department supporting a child with ASD throughout the school day. In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be providing academic, social and emotional support to a child in their EYFS department based both inside and out of the classroom in a full time Monday to Friday role beginning ASAP and ending July 2023.

In this role as a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be paid £85 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday position beginning ASAP and ending July 2023. You will also have access to our partnership with the Online CPD College, and a free subject enhancement knowledge course on topic such as Safeguarding, Mental Health Awareness and Managing Challenging Behaviour.

Primary Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Brilliant organisation & communication skills
• Passionate about a career in primary education
• Eager to gain vital first-hand teaching experience
• Patient and understanding regarding pupils progress
