This Watford secondary school is looking for a driven and committed graduate to provide STEM interventions across KS3 – KS5. You could choose to specialise in one of the STEM subjects or work across multiple subject areas if you feel confident to do so. STEM Tutor  – key information

• Support pupils on a 1:1 / small group basis
• Create tailored lesson plans and engaging resources
• Assist pupils with varied abilities
• Work under the guidance of experienced teaching staff
• Develop your skills prior to teacher training
• Full time – Monday-Friday
• Long term position in one school
• Communicate with parents, staff and external bodies
• Paid £450 -£545 per week term time only. September start.

STEM Tutor – What do I need?

• 2:1 minimum in your degree from a UK university (applications will be considered based on predicted grades)
• Strong A-Levels and GCSEs
• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Exceptional subject knowledge
• Passionate about becoming a teacher
• Positive and engaging nature
