Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Derby – 2023 Academic Year – Full Time

Are you a final year Psychology student with a passion for supporting young children, and a desire to find a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant role based in a wonderful Primary School this September?

A warm and welcoming primary school based in Derby are keen to find a naturally outgoing, dedicated and hard-working Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant to join their KS1 SEN department providing 1:1 support to a child with Autism.

In this role as a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be required to support the child throughout the school day through providing vital 1:1 support sessions inside and out of the classroom based around a carefully structured Education Health Care Plan. The role is a full-time position beginning September 2023 and finishing in July 2023.

• Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant
• Located in Derby (DE2)
• Full time role – Beginning September 2023
• Ending July 2023
• Paid £87 per day during term time only
• Access to FREE subject enhancement knowledge course
• Providing 1:1 support to a child with Autism
• Working alongside experienced SEN department
• Following carefully planned EHCP

Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children
• Naturally supportive and outgoing personality
• Passionate about SEN education

• Ability to keep children engaged and inspired
