Graduate English Support Tutor – Sunderland

Graduate English Support Tutor – The Role:

  • Full-Time Monday to Friday role
  • Paid £87 per day during term time only
  • Located in Sunderland (SR1)
  • Based inside of school’s KS3 & KS4 department
  • Planning and creating 1:1 support inside and out of class
  • Groups no bigger than 5 students
  • Building rapport with students and teaching staff
  • Creating positive and engaging learning experiences

Graduate English Support Tutor – Person Specification:

  • Minimum 2:1 English subject based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Russell Group university desirable
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Passionate about your specialist subject
  • Interested in a career based within education
  • Good organisation & communication skills

Graduate English Support Tutor – The School:

  • OFSTED graded ‘Good’ secondary academy
  • Located in Sunderland (SR1)
  • Superb KS3 & KS4 English department
  • Excellent recent progress 8 results
  • History of working with talented graduates
