An excellent secondary school based in Spalding is keen on finding a hard-working, motivated and education oriented 2023 Core Subject, Humanities or Languages graduate to join their excellent teaching support department in a full-time role beginning September 2023 for the full academic year.

In this role as a Graduate Academic Mentor, you will be providing 1:1 & small group support to KS3 & KS4 students in your specialist subject following a carefully structured curriculum plan previously set by the class teacher.

Graduate Academic Mentor – Role Information:

• Monday to Friday role – Beginning September 2023
• Based inside one secondary academy for full academic year
• Located in Spalding (PE11)
• Paid £88 per day during term time only
• Working across KS3 & KS4 department
• Planning and conducting vital 1:1 & small group support
• Creating engaging and fulfilling learning experiences
• Developing professional and sustainable relationships with pupils
• Following carefully structured curriculum plan

Graduate Academic Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Incoming 2023 Core Subject, Humanities or Languages university graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Naturally outgoing and proactive person
• Ability to build sustainable relationships
• Can work both individually and as part of team
