Are you an incoming 2023 university graduate with a interest in education, and a desire to find a full-time, Monday to Friday role inside of a superb secondary academy for the coming academic year helping plan and conduct 1:1 support sessions for students across KS3 & KS4?

A superb secondary academy with a history of working with talented graduates is keen to find a supportive, outgoing and naturally engaging recent graduate to join their KS3 & KS4 department as a Graduate Academic Coach in a full-time Monday to Friday role for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Graduate Academic Coach, you will be planning and conducting vital 1:1 and small group support sessions inside and out of the classroom for students based in your specialist subject. You will be monitoring the students progress, building a rapport with the student and also analysing which topics they struggle with.

Graduate Academic Coach – Role Information:

• Full time – Monday to Friday role
• Located in Durham (DH1)
• Paid £415 – £430 per week during term time only
• Free access to online CPD college course based in education
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions
• Analysing and supporting students with topics they struggle with
• Keeping track of students progress throughout the academic year

Graduate Academic Coach – Applicant Requirements:

• Incoming 2023 Core Subject, Humanities or MFL based graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering
• Naturally supportive and engaging personality
• Passionate about providing all-round support to young people
• Ability to develop instant rapport with students
• Good organisation & communication skills
