Humanities Teaching Assistant – The Role

  • Give 1:1 Tutoring sessions to pupils (year 7 – year 13)
  • Work with pupils in small support groups to promote engagement and fill in knowledge gaps
  • Support classroom teachers
  • Research given topics and create resources for learning
  • Regular CPD sessions
  • Supported structure, receive training throughout to gain confidence in every aspect of classroom life
  • Based in Coventry (CV3) with excellent transport links
  • Paid, full-time role, Monday-Friday

Humanities Teaching Assistant – Person Specification

  • At least a 2:1 degree
  • Passion for education
  • Natural affinity to working with young people
