An excellent primary school based in Jarrow is eager to find an outgoing, hard-working and ambitious Learning Support Assistant to join their excellent SEN department in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be providing 1:1 & small group support to children in the schools KS1 department with SEN following a carefully structured Education Health Care Plan in a Monday to Friday role, with usual school working hours.

In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will earn £85 per day during term time with a free subject enhancement knowledge course via the online CPD college on topics such as SEN, Safeguarding and Mental Health Awareness.

• Learning Support Assistant

• Full academic year – Based in one school
• Monday to Friday role – School working hours
• Paid £85 per day during term time only
• Providing 1:1 & small group support across KS1
• Working both inside and out of the classroom
• Creating sessions based around session plans

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Incoming 2023 Psychology or Education Studies based graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally engaging and outgoing personality
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop instant rapport with students
• Able to work individually or as team player
