Are you an incoming 2023 graduate with a passion for supporting young people and a desire to gain vital first-hand SEN based teaching experience?

A wonderful secondary academy based in the Kettering area is actively looking to find a supportive, engaging and understanding Student Support Coach to provide excellent 1:1 support to students across their KS3 & KS4.

In this role as a Student Support Mentor, you will be working with vulnerable students in need of vital 1:1 SEMH support due to mental health difficulties. You will be working alongside an excellent Pastoral department, with a dedicated leader and a mixture of experienced and recently qualified staff.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Located in Kettering (NN14)
• September 2023 Start – Ending July 2024
• Full time – Monday to Friday role
• Based inside school’s pastoral department
• Paid £430 per week during term time
• FREE access to online CPD college
• Working across KS3 & KS4 department

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Incoming 2023 Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or volunteering
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Interested in a career within Pastoral support
