Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

• Learning Support Mentor
• Located in Washington (NE37)
• Based in one secondary school
• September 2023 – July 2024 contract
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Paid £440 – £450 per week during term time
• FREE access to CPD college course – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Planning and conducting vital 1:1 & small group SEN support
• Creating sessions tailored around Education Health Care Plan
• Providing a warm and supportive area for learning

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young children
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Naturally outgoing and supportive personality
• Dedicated to the progression of young children
• Passionate about career in Educational Psychology
