In this role as an Academic Learning Mentor, you will be working within your specialist subject department providing vital 1:1 & small group support sessions to students across the school’s KS3 & KS4 demographic for the full academic year!

Academic Learning Mentor – Role Information:

• Monday to Friday role
• Full academic year – September 2023 start
• 30am – 15.00pm working hours
• Paid £440 per week during term time
• Working with students across KS3 & KS4
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions
• Creating engaging and fulfilling academic experience
• Developing vital rapport with students
• FREE access to multiple online CPD college course
• Interviewing for role at start of new academic year

Academic Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Core Subject, Humanities or MFL based graduate
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Passionate about a career utilising your degree knowledge
• Naturally warm and engaging personality
• Ability to build and develop immediate rapport with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
