Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

• Full academic year
• Located in Grimsby (DN31)
• Based in one primary school
• Working hours: 08.30am – `15.00pm
• Paid £435 per week during term time
• FREE online CPD college course – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Providing 1:1 support to KS1 child with Autism
• Creating support sessions based around carefully structured EHCP
• Working both inside and out of the classroom
• Interviewing for role shortly – Apply ASAP!

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies based degree
• Strong organisation and communication skills
• Prior experience mentoring, tutoring, teaching and volunteering
• Naturally engaging and outgoing individual
• Passionate about a career working with children
• Ability to build rapport with others
• Can work both individually and as member of a team
