Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Full academic year
• Located in Gateshead (NE2)
• Based inside of SEN specialist school
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Paid £445 per week during term time
• FREE access to online CPD college courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support for students with SEN
• Following carefully structured Education Health Care Plans
• Being patient and supportive regarding students progress

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology subject degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Passionate about educating young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with young people quickly
• Patient and supportive personality
