SEMH Support Mentor – The Role:

  • Full academic year
  • Located in Tynemouth (NE30)
  • Based in one secondary academy
  • Paid £430 per week during term time
  • Access to multiple FREE online CPD courses
  • Supporting child with SEMH needs in Year 11 class
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 support sessions
  • Working with student inside and out of classroom
  • Interviewing for role shortly – Apply ASAP!

SEMH Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology or Education Studies degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young children
  • Passionate about a career within education
  • Naturally warm and supportive personality
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with children quickly
