Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

  • Full academic year
  • Located in Wallsend (NE27)
  • Based within one primary school
  • Paid £440 per week during term time
  • Working directly with one pupil
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 & support sessions
  • Tailoring sessions around pupils Education Health Care Plan
  • Remaining a consistent foundation of all-round support

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies subject university degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with children
  • Eager to utilise degree subject knowledge
  • Naturally engaging and outgoing personality
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to work individually and as part of team
  • Passionate about a career supporting young people
