A brilliant secondary school based in Central Nottingham is looking to find a dedicated, naturally engaging and passionate recent English university graduate to join their wonderful tutoring department as an English Graduate Tutor in a full-time role for the coming academic year.

In this role as an English Graduate Tutor, you will be planning and conducting vital 1:1 & small group support sessions for students across the school’s KS3 & KS4 department based around the current topics being studied in the English curriculum.

You will earn £85 per day during term time in a Monday to Friday role until the end of the academic year in July 2024. You will also have free access to multiple online CPD college courses in topics such as SEN, Safeguarding and Mental Health Awareness.

English Graduate Tutor – Role Information:

• Full academic year
• Located in Central Nottingham (NG5)
• Based inside of ONE secondary academy
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Paid £450 per week during term time
• FREE access to online CPD college courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support across KS3 & KS4
• Creating support sessions based around students academic needs

English Graduate Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Core subject based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience tutoring, teaching, mentoring or volunteering
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Passionate about educating young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with young people quickly
