General Primary Teaching Assistant – Job Description

• Located in Camden, NW3
• Great transport links, close by to Hampstead Station
• Paid teaching placement £85 – £95 per day, term time only
• Support with specific areas of learning e.g., literacy, mathematics
• Encourage reading and monitor progress
• Support children with SEN on a 1:1 basis
• Assist with the delivery of phonics lessons
• Praise imaginative and creative students
• Work with the EYFS department
• You may also be required to support on a 1:1 basis in other year groups but the role will predominately be based in Reception
• Help create fun and inspiring lessons

General Primary Teaching Assistant – Person Specification:

• Minimum 2:1 BA (Hons) degree (other qualifications considered)
• Good A Levels
• Experience working with children/young pupils
• Creative and engaging personality
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Aspirations to work in education
• Knowledge of SEN
