SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Learning Support Assistant
• Located in Sunderland (SR2)
• Based in one secondary school – Full academic year
• Monday to Friday position – 08.30am – 15:00pm
• Paid £84 per day during term time only
• Access to multiple free online CPD college courses
• Planning and conducting 1:1 SEN support in KS2 department
• Creating support sessions based around EHCP

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience mentoring, tutoring & teaching
• Passionate about your specialist subject
• Naturally outgoing and proactive individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with others quickly
• Eager to utilise degree subject knowledge in school environment
