SEN Support Assistant – Leicester – Primary – Full Academic Year – Starting ASAP!

A wonderful primary school based in the Leicester area is looking to find a superb SEN Support Assistant to provide excellent 1:1 & small group support to children across their KS1 & KS2 department within their primary school for their children in their SEN department.

In this role as an SEN Support Assistant, you will earn £85 per day during term time whilst also having access to multiple online CPD college courses on topics such as SEN, Safeguarding and Mental Health awareness throughout the year.

SEN Support Assistant – Role Information:

• SEN Support Assistant
• Located in Leicester (LE5)
• Based in one primary school for full academic year
• Paid £430 per week during term time
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
• Planning and conducting 1:1 support for KS1 child
• Tailoring sessions based around EHCP
• Providing supportive and comforting environment

SEN Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology & Education Studies degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Good organisation and communication skills

• Interested in a career within education
