Learning Support Mentor – Role Information:

  • Learning Support Mentor
  • Located in Blyth (NE22)
  • Based in secondary school – Full academic year
  • Working hours: 08.30am – 15:00pm
  • Monday to Friday role – £430 per week during term time
  • FREE access to multiple SEN, SEMH & Safeguarding CPD courses
  • Planning and conducting 1:1 SEN support sessions
  • Creating sessions tailored to students EHCP
  • Providing support across secondary curriculum
  • Interviewing for role shortly – Apply ASAP!

Learning Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Education Studies degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Eager to find role utilising degree subject knowledge
  • Passionate about working within specialist subject
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with young people quickly
  • Engaging and outgoing individual
