Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

• Learning Support Assistant
• Located in Hexham (NE46)
• Based within one SEN specialist school
• Monday to Friday role – Full academic year
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
• Paid £435 per week during term time
• FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support for pupils with SEN
• Working across KS1 & KS2 departments

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience tutoring, mentoring or teaching
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about utilising your degree subject knowledge
• Ability to develop rapport with students quickly
• Can work individually or as part of team
