Learning Support Assistant – Sunderland (SR10) – Primary – Full Academic Year – Starting ASAP!
Are you a recent Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience based graduate looking to find a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant role in one school for the coming academic year?
A warm and welcoming primary school based in Jarrow is looking to find a hard-working, dedicated and outgoing Learning Support Assistant to work in a 1:1 support role for a KS1 child with severe autism based both inside and out of the classroom following an Education Health Care Plan.
In this role as a Learning Support Assistant, you will be planning and conducting tailored support sessions around pre-set Education Health Care Plans. You will be paid £85 per day during term time, whilst also having access to multiple online CPD college courses on SEN, Mental Health & other education based topics/subjects.

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Education Studies or Neuroscience degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with young people
- Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
- Passionate about the development of children
- Eager to gain first-hand school based SEN experience
