A wonderful secondary school based in the Mansfield area is looking to find a hard-working, dedicated and outgoing Alternate Provision Mentor to provide superb 1:1 & small group support to children with special educational needs in their Alternative Provision Unit.
In this role as an Alternate Provision Mentor, you will be planning and conducting support sessions based around students Education Health Care Plan whilst creating a warm and supportive school environment for the children to learn in.

Alternate Provision Mentor – Role Information:
- Alternate Provision Mentor
- Located in Mansfield (NG18)
- Paid £430 per week – Monday to Friday role
- Working hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
- FREE online CPD courses inc. – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
- Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group support sessions in specialist subject
- Providing support based around Education Health Care Plan
- Creating warm and supportive school environment

Alternate Provision Mentor – Applicant Requirements:
- Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology degree
- Strong academic background
- Prior experience working with young people
- Good organisation & communication skills
- Passionate about the development of children
- Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
