1:1 Learning Mentor – Cramlington – Primary School – Full Academic Year

A wonderful primary school based in the Cramlington area is looking to find a hard-working, dedicated and considerate 1:1 Learning Mentor to provide vital care & academic support to a KS2 child with complex learning difficulties based inside and out of the classroom.

In this role as a 1:1 Learning Mentor, you will earn £430 per week during term time, whilst also having access to up to 3 online CPD college courses on topics such as SEN, Safeguarding and Mental Health throughout the academic year.

1:1 Learning Mentor – Role Information:

  • 1:1 Learning Mentor
  • Located in Cramlington (NE23)
  • Based within KS2 department
  • Primary School – Full academic year
  • Working Hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
  • Paid £430 per week during term time
  • FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
  • Tailoring support sessions to pupil’s Education Health Care Plan

1:1 Learning Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about working with children
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
