As an English Academic Mentor, you will work with students on a 1:1 or group basis across mainstream classrooms, the school’s SEN hub and other departments around school.

English Academic Mentor – The Role

• English Academic Mentor
• Long-term, full-time support role
• Paid £85 to £105 per day term time only
• Providing 1:1 or group support to students
• Create a positive learning environment for students

English Academic Mentor – Applicant Requirements

• Minimum 2:1 degree – A-Levels
• Strong academic background e.g. A-Levels
• Experience working with young people
• Good volunteering or work experience
• Organisation and communication skills
• An English Academic Mentor must have a passion for education
