An excellent SEN specialist school based in the Mansfield area is looking to find a naturally outgoing, supportive and dedicated Graduate SEN Support Mentor to provide 1:1 & small group support to children with special educational needs across their KS1 & KS2 department.

In this role as a Graduate SEN Support Mentor, you will be working with experienced and supportive SEN professionals providing excellent tailored support based around Education Health Care Plans for children with special educational needs based inside and out of the classroom.

Graduate SEN Support Mentor – Role Information:

• Providing 1:1 & small group SEN support to children across KS1 & KS2
• Tailoring support sessions based around Education Healthcare Plans

• Remaining patient and understanding regarding progress of pupils
• Being dependable and outgoing member of teaching support staff

Graduate SEN Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology, Sociology or Criminology based degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Passionate about the development of children
• Eager to gain first hand school based SEN support experience
• Good organisation and communication skills
• No UK via sponsorship available for this role
