Pastoral Support Mentor – Role Information:

  • Full academic year
  • Located in Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE7)
  • Based in ONE secondary school
  • MPS – UPS per annum depending on experience
  • Option to join permanently pending completion
  • Working across KS3 & KS4 department supporting young people
  • Providing excellent social, emotional and mental health support
  • Creating a warm and engaging learning environment

Pastoral Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology subject degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience working with young people
  • Passionate about a career supporting children
  • Excellent organisation & communication skills
  • Ability to develop rapport with young people
