SEN Teacher – Nottingham (NG6) – Mainstream Secondary – Immediate Start – Full Time

i-teachers are working exclusively with a fantastic secondary academy in Nottingham who are looking to find a proactive, dedicated and conscientious SEN Teacher to join their new Nurture Provision department in KS3 for the academic year.

In this role as an SEN Teacher, you will be planning and conducting learning experiences for KS3 students working at a LKS2 level with classes no bigger than 14 pupils students. The role is a full-time position until the end of the academic year, with option to join permanently pending successful probation period.

  • SEN Teacher – Full time position

  • MPS – UPS per annum pay scale
  • Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
  • Secondary School – NEW Nurture Provision Department
  • Working with KS3 students with special educational needs
  • Teaching classes no bigger than 14 pupils

SEN Teacher – Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Education/SEN
  • Minimum 2:2 UK or Ireland based degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Passionate about working with children with SEN
  • Strong organisation and communication skills
  • Dedicated to the progression of your students
  • Naturally outgoing and passionate individual
