A fantastic secondary school based in the Whitley Bay area is actively looking to find a dedicated, hard-working and outgoing Student Support Tutor to working with vulnerable SEMH students in their KS3 & KS4 department through close 1:1 & small group support outside of the classroom.

Student Support Tutor – Role Information:

• Full academic year – Beginning ASAP!
• Located in Gateshead (NE2)
• Monday to Friday position – Usual school working hours
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & more!
• Conducting pre-set lessons for KS3 & KS4 English classes
• Providing excellent small group & individual support during lesson time

Student Support Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Good organisation & communication skills
• Passionate about the progression of young people
