An excellent secondary academy based in the Hebburn area is looking to find a conscientious, hard-working and compassionate Academic Support Coach able to provide vital 1:1 support to KS3 & KS4 students based both inside and outside of the classroom for the academic year in a full-time role.

In this role as an Academic Support Coach, the successful candidate will be planning and conducting tailored support sessions based inside and out of the classroom focusing on the academic, social and emotional progression of students struggling to integrate into classroom environments.

Academic Support Coach – Role Information:

• Academic Support Coach – Beginning ASAP!
• Located in North Shields (NE29)
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Full academic year – Based in one school
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Safeguarding & Mental Health
• Planning and conducting 1:1 SEN support for KS1 child

Academic Support Coach – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Eager to gain vital first-hand school based experience
• Ability to develop rapport with young children
