A forward-thinking and progressive Alternative Provision Academy based in the Chesterfield area is looking to find a hard-working, resilient and naturally outgoing Graduate Academic Tutor to provide vital academic, social and emotional support inside of a classroom environment alongside the class teacher for KS3 & KS4 students.

Graduate Academic Tutor – Role Information:

• Graduate Academic Tutor
• Located in Chesterfield (S41)
• Based in one ALP academy – Monday to Friday role
• Working Hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• Paid £430 per week during term time
• Access to FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Providing in class small group pastoral support to KS3 & KS4 students
• Working with challenging secondary students inside of class
• Creating warm and comforting school environment for students

Graduate Academic Tutor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and inspiring individual
