Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Located in Hasland (S41)
• Monday to Friday – Based in one ALP academy
• Working hours: 08.30am – 15.30pm
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Working alongside class teacher in classes of 10 pupils
• Providing tailored 1:1 & small group support
• Taking cover classes in case of teacher absence

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience tutoring, teaching or working with children
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Resilient and patient individual
• Ability to build genuine rapport with young people
• Passionate about the chance to support children with SEMH needs
