i-teachers are working with a brilliant alternative provision academy located in the Chesterfield area who are looking to find an outgoing, supportive and dedicated Classroom Support TA able to support the class teacher and conduct 1:1 & small group support.

In this role as a Classroom Support TA, you will be supporting students in the KS3 & KS4 department alongside the class teacher whilst conducting individual and small group support for children with behavioural needs.

Classroom Support TA – Role Information:

• Classroom Support TA – Monday to Friday role
• Starting January 2024 – Interviewing NOW!
• Located in Chesterfield (S40)
• Based in one alternative provision academy
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Supporting class teacher throughout lesson time
• Tailoring 1:1 & small group support sessions around weak points
• Keeping students engaged and proactive throughout

Classroom Support TA – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience tutoring, teaching, mentoring or working with children
• Naturally outgoing and motivated individual
• Passionate about a career working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Ability to develop rapport with young people
• *Full UK driving license*
