Academic Learning Mentor

• Paid £80-£95 per day (term time, including holiday pay)
• Work 5 days per week, school hours (6 hours per day)
• Academic Learning Mentor / KS3-KS4
• Ideal for someone with tutoring experience

Academic Learning Mentor – The Role:

• Support the schools intervention strategy
• Work with small groups and 1:1
• Plan and deliver sessions tailored to those pupils
• Track and monitor progress, feedback to class teachers

Academic Learning Mentor – Person Specification:

• Ideally you will have a Maths, English or Science degree and strong A-Levels.
• Degree in a CORE subject essential – ideally Maths or Science
• It is essential that you are an enthusiastic individual who is resilient and empathetic.
• Excellent communicator
