Graduate Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• Graduate Teaching Assistant
• Located in Chesterfield (S40)
• Beginning January 2024 – Full academic year
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Based in one alternative provision academy
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Working alongside class teacher in class of 10
• Planning and conducting lessons for students with behavioural needs

Graduate Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with young people
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about a career working with children
• Dedicated to the progression of all children
• Ability to build genuine rapport with young people
• UK Driving License required for this position*
