i-teachers are working with a superb secondary academy who are eager to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally outgoing Graduate Academic Support Mentor to provide vital 1:1 & small group support to their KS3 & KS4 students in the English, Science or Mathematics subject.

In this role as a Graduate Academic Support Mentor, the successful candidate will be planning and conducting tailored 1:1 & small group support in their specialist subject in a Monday to Friday role for the academic year based in one secondary academy.

Graduate Academic Support Mentor – Role Information:

• Graduate Academic Support Mentor – January 2024 start
• Location: Bristol (BS6)
• Based in one secondary school – Full time role
• Usual school working hours
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Free access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Tailoring and conducting 1:1 & small group support for KS3 & KS4 students
• Working within your specialist subject

Graduate Academic Support Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or supporting young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about the progression of young children
