Learning Support Assistant – Role Information:

  • Learning Support Assistant – January 2024 start
  • Location: Bristol (BS6)
  • Based in one primary school – Full time role
  • Usual school working hours
  • Paid £430 per week during term time only
  • Free access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
  • Tailoring and conducting 1:1 EHCP support for children with SEN
  • Creating and maintaining warm and supportive learning environment
  • Working within your specialist subject

Learning Support Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based Psychology, Education Studies or Sociology degree
  • Strong academic background
  • Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or supporting young people
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Passionate about the progression of young children
