Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEND – The Role and The Benefits:
- Based in Leeds (with great transport links!)
- Work with class teacher to support SEND student across their learning
- Help student develop confidence and be patient with the pace at which they learn
- Use initiative and know when to support student on a 1:1 basis and when to allow for independent work
- Liaise with parents/guardians when appropriate to offer feedback on progress or concerns
- Support students to maintain a healthy lifestyle and mental well-being
- Long-term role, no daily supply
- £350-£450 per week (term-time only)

Person Specification – Graduate Teaching Assistant – SEND:
- 2:1 or above (Psychology degree preferred but other subjects welcome!)
- Excellent academic background
- Relevant experience in a school is essential
- Previous experience in other relevant settings
- Confident, attentive, and patient personality
- Ability to deal with challenging behaviour
