Teaching & Learning Assistant – Role Information:

• Teaching & Learning Assistant – Secondary Alternative Provision Academy
• Location: Chesterfield (S40)
• Based in one ALP school – Full time role
• Working Hours: 08.30am – 15.00pm
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• Free access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Supporting class teacher in planning and conducting lessons for KS3 & KS4 students
• Creating engaging and inspiring learning experiences
• Providing 1:1 & small group support to students in class

Teaching & Learning Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or supporting young people
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about the progression of young children
• *NO UK visa sponsorship available for this role*
