SEN Teaching Assistant – Swadlincote – Primary – Full Time – Immediate Start

i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant primary & nursery school based in the Swadlincote area who are looking to find a hard-working, dedicated and naturally engaging SEN Teaching Assistant to provide vital 1:1 & small group support to pupils across their KS1 & KS2 department with special educational needs.

In this role as an SEN Teaching Assistant, the successful candidate will be required to provide tailored 1:1 & small group support based around carefully structured Education Health Care Plans for children with special educational needs in a full time role until the end of the academic year.

SEN Teaching Assistant – Role Information:

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Located in Swadlincote (DE11)
• Monday to Friday role – Usual school working hours
• Based in one primary & nursery school
• Paid £430 per week during term time only
• FREE access to online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Planning and conducting 1:1 & small group SEN support
• Working with children across KS1 & KS2 department

SEN Teaching Assistant – Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children
• Naturally outgoing and supportive personality
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about the development of children
