i-teachers are currently working with a fantastic Alternative Provision Academy based in the Chesterfield area who are actively recruiting to find hard-working, resilient and passionate recent graduates to support their Teachers inside of the classroom environment in a full-time role until the end of the academic year as a Classroom Support Assistant.

In this role as a Classroom Support Assistant, the successful candidate will be planning and conducting lessons alongside the class teacher whilst also providing individual and small group support to the students during lesson time.

Classroom Support Assistant – Role Information:

• Classroom Support Assistant
• Located in Chesterfield (S41)
• Based in Alternative Provision Academy – Monday to Friday role
• Paid £450 per week during term time only
• FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, SEMH & Safeguarding
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
• Providing both individual and small group support to students with SEMH needs
• Remaining professional and outgoing throughout lesson time

Classroom Support Assistant – Role Information:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree
• Strong academic background
• Prior experience working with children or adolescents
• Naturally outgoing and resilient individual
• Good organisation and communication skills
• Passionate about supporting children with behavioural needs
