i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant alternative provision academy based in the Chesterfield area who are eager to find an outgoing, naturally engaging and patient Teaching & Behaviour Mentor to work alongside the class teacher in a full-time role supporting KS3 & KS4 students with behavioural needs.

In this role as a Teaching & Behaviour Mentor, the successful candidate will be required to conduct lessons alongside the class teacher during lesson time, whilst providing detailed 1:1 & small group support to the students in classes no bigger than 10.

Teaching & Behaviour Mentor – Role Information:

• Teaching & Behaviour Mentor
• Located in Chesterfield (S41)
• Based in superb alternative provision academy
• Immediate start – Interviewing for role NOW!
• FREE access to multiple online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding
• Paid £450 per week during term time
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
• Providing tailored 1:1 & small group support to students with behavioural needs

Teaching & Behaviour Mentor – Applicant Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status – Secondary Computing
• Minimum 2:2 UK based university degree
• Strong prior teaching observations
• Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to build positive rapport with students
• Resilient and outgoing teaching professional
