Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant – Nottingham – Full Time Role – Immediate Start

An excellent secondary academy located in the Nottingham area is looking to find a talented, hard-working and resilient Graduate Pastoral Teaching Assistant to work with their KS3 & KS4 students with behavioural & SEMH needs both inside and out of the classroom in a full-time role for the remainder of the academic year.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based degree
  • Previous experience working with young people
  • Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
  • Considering teacher training or career in Psychology
  • Strong organisation and communication skills

Role Information:

  • Providing 1:1 & small group support to students with behavioural & SEMH needs
  • Tailoring support sessions to pupils academic needs
  • Remaining patient, supportive and outgoing throughout school hours
  • Paid £450 per week during term time – Multiple free online CPD courses
  • Monday to Friday position – Based in one primary academy for academic year
