Graduate Classroom Tutor – Chesterfield – Full Time Role – Immediate Start – ALP Academy

i-teachers are currently working with a brilliant Alternative Provision Academy based in the Chesterfield area who are looking to find a knowledgeable, patient and engaging Graduate Classroom Tutor to plan and conduct lessons alongside the teacher in classes no bigger than 10 pupils, whilst providing consistent 1:1 & small group support for students throughout.

Applicant Requirements:

• Minimum 2:1 UK based Core Subject, Humanities or Psychology degree
• Previous experience working with young people
• Naturally outgoing and engaging individual
• Considering teacher training or career in Psychology
• Strong organisation and communication skills

Role Information:

• Providing 1:1 & small group support to students in KS3 & KS4 with SEMH needs
• Planning and conducting lessons alongside class teacher
• Tailoring support sessions to students academic needs
• Remaining patient, supportive and outgoing throughout school hours
• Paid £450 per week during term time – Multiple free online CPD courses
• Monday to Friday position – Based in one primary academy for academic year
